Walking in the Dolomites: A Lesson on Thru-Hiking for Novices

Well said @donzip #neverforget Well said @donzip #neverforget
Working on the weekends means missing this little Working on the weekends means missing this little face. I used to think it was a bit sad when parents said things like that, but I naively underestimated how I’d feel about my own child. Even now when we go out to do something fun, we still spend some of the evening looking at pictures of her, and wondering how she is and what she’s doing. I need some freedom and autonomy, a way to express myself, let off steam and find some intellectual stimulation to feel balanced - and she benefits from me getting that too, but in a competition, the monumental love I have for this very small person absolutely obliterates the love I have for everything else.
